Dr. Frederic Caillaud is an internationally renowned expert in technology transfer, innovation management, and R&D strategy. He served as the Deputy General Manager in charge of Innovation at the French Patent Office (INPI) for five years after working at L'Oréal for two decades as the Director of the Licensing and Business Development Department. During his career, he has overseen the evaluation, negotiation, and management of numerous partnerships, licensing, and acquisition projects worldwide, covering various industrial sectors.

Dr. Frédéric has also played a significant role in developing new methods to measure the technological impact of patented inventions and to rank innovative companies. He has worked for seven years as the Licensing and Business Development Director for Fournier Pharma and served as the Director of a Genetic Engineering Department for Rhône-Poulenc Pharma for four years before that.

Dr. Frédéric holds a Ph.D. in Genetic Engineering from the Pasteur Institute of Paris and a postgraduate degree in Strategic Management from HEC School of Management. He advises multiple public institutions on innovation management and serves as a mandated expert for WIPO. Frédéric has delivered over 251 lectures, coaching sessions, and training sessions worldwide.

Dr. Jassim Haji

International expert, strategist and researcher in Artificial Intelligence and Digital Transformation. He is currently President of Artificial Intelligence Group and Executive Adv. At HH Shk Nasser AI Research & Development Centre.

He participated as a key speaker and chairman in over 365 technology conferences in the Middle East and Europe to cover the latest technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Cloud Computing, Big Data, Cyber Security and Digital Transformation. He also published articles in relation to the above topics. Dr Haji managed to achieve forty-three top Middle Eastern technology, innovation and entrepreneurship awards, including 12 Chief of Information Technology distinguished awards. Furthermore, he has been featured on the cover page of 19 international technology and aviation magazines with over 180 interviews. Moreover, published five books in English, Spanish and Arabic on Artificial Intelligence, Algorithms, Digital Transformation post-COVID-19, and Technology and over 720 articles on AI & technologies with international land international press and media in English and Arabic.

Dr Haji received his Doctorate in Business Administration (PhD) from the University of Northumbria at Newcastle, UK in 2010. He has completed his master’s in management of information Technology from the University of Sunderland, UK and graduated in telecommunications from the famed Cable and Wireless College, Cornwall, UK.

Prof. Milan Baltov Prof. Milen Baltov, PhD is himself an example of the transition from a business consultant to an academic and researcher. He was a WG leader and a Management Committee member for several COST – financed with EU 8th FP Horizon 2020 and Horizon Europe programme actions.

They include “The Effective Design and Delivery of Megaprojects in EU”, "А pan-European Network for Marine Renewable Energy", “The EU in the new complex geography of economic systems: models, tools and policy evaluation”, “REthinking Sustainability TOwards a Regenerative Economy", “Multi-disciplinary innovation for social change", and “Circular Economy in a Built-Up Environment”.

Prof. Baltov was an assembly member to the Mission Board for Healthy Oceans, Seas, Coastal and Inland Waters, and co-chairing the Group of Seniour Stakeholders for the Black Sea Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda (BS SRIA).

At the moment, Prof. Baltov is a Rector of the Burgas Free University and a representing Bulgaria in the Programme Committee for the European Innovation Council and Innovation Ecosystems, under the EU Horizon Europe Programme.
